Cowboy with Keyboard

They say that when you make something fun, the learning process becomes easier. Combine the alphabet with a song, for example, and you have an efficient means of teaching children the alphabet. The LiteManagerTeam did something similar with the Cowboy with Keyboard application. They turned the process of learning how to type into a fun game. By trying to do well in the game, you will learn how to type – or boost your typing skills if you already know how to do so.

The Cowboy with Keyboard installation file is only 2.8MB in size. Run the file, click through the setup wizard, and in no time at all you will have the application up and running. Must be mentioned here that the setup wizard lets you choose the installation directory and choose if you want a shortcut on your desktop.

Launch Cowboy with Keyboard and you will be presented with a simple window with multiple buttons on it – the button at the top is for starting the game, the one at the bottom for closing the game. The ones in between are for changing the profile, turning the sound off or on, and for accessing the Options menu.

The goal in the game is quite simple: shoot the baddies, don’t shoot the civilians. Images of the bad guys and civilians will show up. You must press the corresponding letter to shoot them and you must keep doing it until the time runs out. The faster you are, the more points you will score. But be careful not to shoot civilians in your haste – points will be deducted for every civilian that you shoot. Once the level ends, you will be presented with statistics on how well you did.
